Wheels, Watches, Whiskey & Wine: An Evening Where Business Meets Passion
I'll be honest — when I first heard about Wheels, Watches, Whiskey & Wine, I knew immediately who I wanted to bring. This Festivals of Speed event at Land Rover of South Orlando is invite-only, requires an exotic or investment-grade car to attend, and draws exactly the kind of people I knew my client needed to be around. So we made it happen.
That kind of thinking — who should be in this room, and how do I get them there? — is at the core of what Highland does. Saturday was a perfect example of it working exactly as intended.

The Night
My client arrived in his Lamborghini Huracán STO and within minutes the introductions started flowing. Over 75 wines, bourbons, and scotches were being poured, hors-d'oeuvres were making the rounds, and the energy in the room was exactly what I hoped for. Then, to cap it all off, my client won the Valentino Balboni Award — named after Lamborghini's legendary test driver, presented by Destiny Family Office. When you arrive in an STO, I suppose that's what happens.

I got a ride in the STO. If you've never been in one — find a way. The V10 sounds like nothing else on earth, and there's something about experiencing that together that cuts right through any formality. The best conversations of the night happened in that car and immediately after stepping out of it.

More Than Cars
Inside, there were some seriously impressive timepieces on display. I found myself lingering at the watch cases longer than I probably should have — there was an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph that was hard to walk away from.

One of the genuine surprises of the night was meeting a talented local artist, @j.vladimir, whose work stopped me mid-conversation. Orlando has an incredible creative scene and I'm always glad when events like this give it a platform. Definitely follow him — his work is something special.

What Made It Worth It
By the end of the evening, my client had won a Lamborghini trophy, made several new meaningful connections, and has a real business opportunity already taking shape. That's not luck. That's what happens when you put the right person in the right room at the right time.
